  • Large mixing bowl
  • Cookie sheets/baking trays
  • Cookie scoop or tablespoon

Ingredients
  

For the Cookies

  • cups 315g gluten-free all-purpose flour blend
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 1 cup 230g unsalted butter, softened
  • ¾ cup 150g granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup 165g packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups 340g semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup 120g chopped nuts (if using certified gluten-free) Optional

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C)
  • Line baking sheets with parchment paper
  • Have ingredients at room temperature

Mix Dry Ingredients

  • Whisk together gluten-free flour
  • Add baking soda and salt
  • Set aside

Cream Butter and Sugars

  • Beat butter until creamy
  • Add both sugars
  • Mix until light and fluffy
  • Takes about 3-4 minutes

Add Wet ingredients

  • Beat in eggs one at a time
  • Add vanilla extract
  • Scrape bowl sides

Combine and Bike

  • Add dry ingredients gradually
  • Fold in chocolate chips
  • Drop by rounded tablespoons
  • Bake 11-13 minutes
